Ambler Fabric Care Laundromat Reviews

They use a complicated computerized system to charge you. It was new to me and I accidentally charged two washes to my card. When I realized it I applied for a refund, but the machine would not give it. Beware!

I love new changes in the Amber fabric care laundromat and the new owner did a great job.. Brand new floor. Updated heat and air conditioning. And the new Pay wash and dryers you can now use on your phone.

I'm literally at this laundromat almost every week. Even though it gets crowded , I really like this laundromat. I always have a lot of laundry and because there are numerous machines, I can get it done without having to wait for someone else. The location and hours are more than convenient! I give it 5 stars!

Not a bad place and machines seem to be working properly. Some of them were out of service but that's ok. I like that they open early but it can get crowded even at 6am. Prices went up. Dryers now give you 4 minutes per quarter, which is a little steep if you ask me. Edit: I like what they did in terms of renovating the place. It feels more airy and clean.

5/2024 I had to return to this business as I needed to get some large loads of laundry done. New machines which look good. I needed a load to use hot water and the price increased by ¢.50 which is just crazy, he pays no more for hot water but requires his customers too? Still a rip off. 11/25/2020 UPDATE ON MY REVIEW: SInce my 1st post the owner called me as he wanted to make good on the money I lost in a machine by mailing it too me, I declined that offer but was still open to meeting someone at the laundry mat to receive the money, that has not happened to date. He also asked that I take down my original post since he was trying to do the right thing for me and I was not cooperating with all his attempts. He asked that I continue to be a customer. As you can I see I did not take down the post. I have been there a few times, still losing money. This past Monday I got $9.20 back after putting $10 bill n the coin changer. I called Mike not long after this happened to request the $.80 that I was shorted along with the original money lost. NO response at all. Find a new/different place to do your laundry. I have visited this location serveral times and most of the time I have experienced issues with the washers. I have called the owner Mike a few times, he is super nice. The last time there I lost some coins in a machine spoke to MIke who was going to have one of his employees meet me at the laundry mat to provide the refund. That was almost 2 weeks ago and we have not connected. Mike is aware, he wants to make good on my loss! In the meantime to the above issue I went on a Sat evening to do several loads of wash to see that the machine prices had gone up ($2.50 to $4 & $5.50 to $7) when I asked Mike about this he told me that was impossible. I told him I saw what I saw, he asked me to take a picture if I see it again. Not sure there will be a next time for me. Recommend you go during the week if you want a fair price to do laundry.
